Guitar Journey - Really late February 2026 update!
Man, what a month. I almost haven't been able to play a thing on Feb so I'm posting and it's already March. This month has been really busy for me (and I had a little-ish of quitting desire but thanks to my GF I played again and now I've been playing for some days straight).
Updates!
I've been practicing JustinGuitar's Module 8 for a few weeks and started incorporing the Scotty West's memorizing chords exercise with C and G (the tricky ones for me besides F chord with will come really soon).
Scotty's exercise has been a blast even if it's 5 minute a day where I can play those chords right away at 90bpm @ half notes. Working on improving it!
The rest of the practice by JustinGuitar has been helpful but between yesterday and today I finished chapter 3 of Metal Rhythm Guitar I and recorded the corresponding song. Also that's a huge milestone as I'm now halfway through the book! I had different tries until I got it near perfect and recorded both left and right guitar, so it sounds better. Remember that the lead guitar is part of the backing track, so only the rhythm guitar is my recording (also my guitars are slightly louder in order to hear them better) :)
